This bibliography is derived from an extensive list initally put together by Paul Hepworth (Conservator, Walters Art Museum). It has been augmented with references from the papers written in fulfillment for my MA in Art History, as well as those researched by Yana van Dyke (Conservator, The Metropolitan Museum of Art) for a workshop on the Conservation of Indian Miniatures.
I hope that those visitors who have read some of these titles will be willing to annotate these entries with their comments. Please feel free to contact me with additions to this list. Beginning with this type of feedback from the professional community, eventually I hope to host an on-line forum for discussion of the conservation of Asian and Islamic art. Therefore, I ask that you please take the time to add your comments to this list.
