I found this book to be the best reference thus far for planning my journey around India. Ms. Soteriou has done a lot of work in the North, especially in Rajasthan, visiting with Noor Mohammed Kagzi of Sanganer, with whom many others have visited. Additionally, Ms. Soteriou publishes photographs of old papermakers in other parts of India, giving me the hope that I may track them down and visit with them, as she has. I hope to take her book with me and show the kagzi-walleh how much their craft is appreciated, throughout the world.
